The Last Light Bulb?

In 2012 the U.S. Government will ban the incandescent light bulb. Are we really going to let that happen? Are we going to allow our government to tell us that we can no longer buy one of the most extraordinary and inexpensive inventions of the 19th century?

Memo to the United States Government:

  1. Stay out of my doctor’s office
  2. Stay out of my bedroom
  3. Stay out of my garage
  4. Stay out of my effing light bulb socket

FYI. If you get caught using a 100 watt incandescent light bulb in the European Union, you will get hit with a huge fine–up to $70,000! WTF!?

    Thanks antlion,
    you are of course right,
    banning lightbulbs makes no sense
    - even from the energy saving or environmental reasons given
